Sitting Pretty

Two days before turning 8 months and we've just got home after attending a friend's christening. Aunty Jane from Carterton bought me this dress when I was first born, along with some red shoes...unfortunately the shoes are a bit big but the dress fits perfectly now. Thank you Jane. As you can see, I can sit fairly well now. Having trouble getting started on the crawling, my knees seem to know what to do, they just haven't communicated properly with my arms so i spend most of the time with my face on the carpet and bum in the air....not the most attractive position.

Beside the seaside, beside the sea

Here we are on a family visit to the seaside. It was great fun as it was the first time I had been on a beach and seen the sea.

Dad made me wear this!

Dad brought me a bunny outfit and made me wear it! He wanted to show everyone how cute I looked, so I agreed to model it for him as he has been trying his best to keep me happy.

I like baby rice

Mmmm, six months now and Mum has now started giving me solids. This is the first time I had baby rice and it was a bit messy as you can see. I eat much better now and Mum has been cooking me some great dishes.

Sitting Pretty

Here I am at five and a half months, sitting in my bumbo. Dad likes this picture because I have my pink slippers on. I have told Mum and Dad off for not updating my site, but I must admit I have been keeping them very busy.

Chilling Out!

We visited some friends this bank holiday weekend and I took the liberty of relaxing in William Monks' blow up ring. We are playing in his and his brother George's new play room. As you can see I'm just about sitting with a bit of support - they put me in this because now when I'm on the floor I'm rolling over so this is their way of keeping in control. Yeah right!!!

Jungle Ring

Just hanging around in the jungle ring with my mates. This is one of my favourite bits of equipment at the moment - just depends on my mood!! My mates there on my left are Spanish - Dad brought them back from Barcelona for me. Although at the moment I'm finding my hands and fingers are alot more interesting. As mentioned before, I'll be 5 months tomorrow and today I weighed in at 12lb 11oz.

Designer Hat

Off out for a stroll. Mum makes sure my head is protected. How do you like my John Rocha hat (thanks Aunty Lindy) it's a little bit big still but does the job.

Head Held High

It's been a while since mum and dad have updated my blog. I've been keeping them very busy. As you can see I'm getting stronger all the time and I even rolled over last week - haven't done it since though! I'm discovering my verbal skills and the level at which I can shout and scream...it's pretty loud :0). I'll be 5 months tomorrow and only waking up once during the night, which is great for mum.

Happy Father's Day

This is me and my dad on Father's Day. I bought him a card and a mouse mat (well okay mum did). The mouse mat has a space for a photo so dad is taking it to work so he can stare at my face all day. Perhaps it will remind him to leave work early and come home to see the real thing!

12 Weeks Old

I'm now 12 weeks old and getting more and more cheeky. Mum said she likes this age as I'm still really helpless but at the same time responsive to her stupid faces and noises. I'm putting on about 5oz a week still and now weigh in at 10lb 8oz. As you can see, my tongue is still out of my mouth most of the time - mum says a fly will land on it one day and that should sort me out.

4 Generations

Here I am with my Great Granma Charman, Nanna Armstrong, Great Aunty Janet and mum. As you can see everyone is so interested in staring at me we didn't get a good picture of everyone looking at the camera. Mum sees too much of me to be impressed all the time!

JABS!!!!!!!!!!

I was two months of age exactly on Monday and what did we do to mark the event.....mum took me to the nurse for my first set of immunisation injections! It really hurt and I screamed the place down - mum got really upset too. The first one was bad but the second one really hurt and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. Mum was very nice to me for the remainder of the day and I got lots of kisses and hugs. I did sleep quite a bit during the day but was up most of the night and then my thighs started to swell up but they are okay now. As you can see I'm taking it easy today and my bears are keeping watch just in case that nurse comes near!

8 weeks and 9lb 2oz

Today (Wednesday 17th May) I'm 8 weeks old and on Monday I weighed a wopping 9lb 2oz. Mum and Dad are very pleased with my progress even though I'm still smaller than all my mates. This is me in the morning getting ready for another day of eating, sleeping and playing with my bears - what a great life I lead!

It's not wind this time.....

Mum and Dad thought they'd share one of my first smiles with everyone. Dad says it makes his day - if he's having a bad day at work then all he has to do is look at this picture. Hope it works for you too.

Nonni and Nonno

My Nonno and Nonni came round today for a visit. Nonno really likes holding me but Nonni is always stealing me away from him - that's good for Nonni but I feel sorry for Nonno. Don't worry though mum always makes sure I get another cuddle with him later in the day - when Nonni isn't looking!

In the pink

Monday 24th April - weighed in at 8lb 3oz today. Dad is pleased that i'm putting on weight although we have to wait 2 weeks before i can be weighed again because of the bank holiday - should be about 9lb by then! Today i'm sporting a lovely pink all-in-one (thank you Sam, Gavin and Oscar). Dad bought my socks! This is me in bed with mum when dad's gone to work - we normally sleep until about 10.30am (although we do get up alot during the night!!!)

I think I've eaten too much! Not looking forward to getting on those scales next Monday. I'm eating alot more these days which is keeping mum very busy....and very sore!

Visitors - Louis and his parents

I've been very spoilt with lots of people coming to visit. Louis came to visit on Good Friday with his mum Jackie and dad Ian. Everyone ate hot cross buns except me as i'm on a low carb diet.

Three Weeks Old

Here I am at 3 weeks old in a nice pink outfit. This is the first of many presents that I am wearing (thanks Chrissie) and as soon as I get a bit bigger mum will be able to try out all the other outfits that everyone has kindly sent me. Thank you all xxxxx On Monday I weighted 7lbs 3oz.

One week old!!

Wow, I am already a week old! Having drunk lots of good milk and lazed around a lot, Mum and Dad decided to send me down the gym. It was great as I played with my bear friends and fell asleep after all the hard looking around I had done.

Happy Mother's Day

Me and my cute Mum, she is very good to me and gives me lots of good milk to drink. On Mother's Day I brought her some flowers and a card which she liked a lot. I told her she was the best mum in the world and I was very lucky to have her.

Me and my Dad

Here I am 3 days old with my dad. He is nice and is trying as hard as he can to meet all my needs but he needs a bit more training. I will keep him awake again for the next few nights, just so he knows who is Boss!

One day old..

Here I am just one day old and sleeping very happily, thinking about bunnies. Will scare Mum and Dad soon just so they know I am here.

Baby Amelia Margaret arrives.

Little Baby Amelia arrived at 9.40am Wednesday 22nd March 2006, weighing 6lb 12 oz (3.065KG). She gave her mum a bit of trouble in the beggining, but was a perfect delivery and came out beautiful and clean. Mum and Dad are very proud and have finally brought her home.
